About ICAC

Bridging Horizons for Evolving AI-Powered Future

6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCEMENTS IN COMPUTING

 

The International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC) is organized by the Faculty of Computing of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) as an open forum for academics along with industry professionals to present the latest findings and research output and practical deployments in the Computer Science and Information Technology domains. All five ICAC conferences held from 2019 to 2023 were successfully conducted with a technical co-sponsorship by IEEE Sri Lanka. 

The primary objective of the ICAC is to uplift the Sri Lankan research landscape and attract foreign researchers for more fruitful research synergies. This conference creates a platform for local and international researchers to showcase their research work, network, and initiate collaborations. This year’s conference is especially focused on bridging the horizons in Artificial intelligence for the betterment of the future, acknowledging the advancements of computing. 

ICAC 2024 will feature a pre-conference summer school, providing an invaluable platform for aspiring researchers to immerse themselves in emerging trends and technologies while cultivating skills and knowledge to the continually evolving fields of computing and information technology.

Promote advanced research culture among academic and cooperate communities around the globe.

 

Highlight the achievements of local and international researchers in the field of computing.

 

Create a platform for networking and collaborative research and development activities among national and international researchers.

 

Foster innovations in information technology and computer science to bridge diverse fields in the age of artificial intelligence, leveraging the transformative power of IT across various sectors.
